How do I place an order?

Twindo creates editable 2D and 3D CAD files, floor plans, and measurement reports from your scans. Using Twindo for as-builts saves significant time and money compared to modeling yourself or outsourcing.


How do I place an order?

Placing an Order from the iOS App


Step 1: Select Your Project

From the Projects screen, tap the thumbnail of your project (for example, "Green Street").

Step 2: Select Scans

Tap each scan you wish to order. Choose whether you’d like the scans merged or processed individually and tap "Next”

Step 3: Choose File Type

Choose the file type you want to work in

Click “Next”


Step 4: Add Payment Method and Submit

Add payment method, review, and confirm your order details. Hit “Place Order”



Step 5: Add Reference Measurements (Optional)

Submit any additional reference material or combine with a previous order in the same format from Order Details.

Step 6: Model Creation

That's it ~ we're on it! We'll deliver your file(s) soon so you can get to work! See estimated delivery times to learn more.

Placing an Order from the Web


Step 1: Start Order Process

Click Scan To CAD Model from Nav Bar or + From Project View. If starting from Scan To CAD Model, you’ll next be prompted to specify which project you would like to order from. 


Step 2: Select Scans

Click each scan you wish to order. Choose whether you’d like the scans merged or processed individually and tap Continue


Step 3: Choose Format

Choose the format you need


Step 4: Add Payment Method and Submit

Select the format(s) you need, then tap Next at the bottom. Add payment method, review, and confirm. Then, you'll confirm your order details.


Step 5: Add Reference Measurements (Optional)

Submit any additional reference material that can be used to improve the model accuracy.  


Step 6: Model Creation

That's it ~ we're on it! We'll deliver your file(s) soon so you can get to work! See estimated delivery times to learn more.

Combining Orders

To add new scans to a previous order (e.g., adding a 2nd floor to an existing 1st floor model):

  1. Order your new scans
  2. Tap Combine with Existing Model on the Order Details screen in the App within 8 hours. Add a note: "Combine this order with order #A1B2C3D4" (use your actual order number).

You'll only be billed for the new square footage, not for areas we've already modeled.

Important: Capture connecting spaces like stairs and hallways with doors open so we can see how the spaces connect.

Plan To CAD

Have plans you’d like to convert to 3D models? Log in to Twindo Web and click the “Plan to CAD Model” on the left side to order or request an estimate for your project. 

  1. Upload your plans - must be a DWG, DXF, or PDF file
  2. Select your Format
  3. Add your estimated square footage
  4. Add your project details
  5. Provide rights approval on the plans you’ve uploaded. 
  6. Click “Continue to Checkout” - you can also “Request an Estimate” for your order by clicking on the link below the checkout button.
